Amina Gautier

Amina Gautier has published two previous story collections, At-Risk and Now We Will Be Happy. At-Risk was awarded the Flannery O’Connor Award and the Eric Hoffer First Horizon Award; Now We Will Be Happy was awarded the Prairie Schooner Book Prize in Fiction and the International Latino Book Award, and was a finalist for the William Saroyan International Prize. The Loss of All Lost Things was awarded the Elixir Press Award in Fiction and the Chicago Public Library’s 21st Century Award, and was a finalist for the John Gardner Award and the Paterson Prize. Gautier is a former Hurston/Wright summer conference fellow and she won Honorable Mentions in the Hurston/Wright Award for College Writers in 2002, 2003, and 2004.
